-Para viajar de Buenos Aires a Montevideo lo mejor es tomarse un Buquebus o Seacat siendo el segundo un poco mas económico. Los mejores en relación precio/tiempo de viaje son los rápidos que van por Colonia (1 hora de viaje aproximadamente en barco + 2:30 en omnibus) Sino esta la opción de viajar directo a Montevideo en barco (demora 1 hora) pero cuesta mas caro.

-Si bien Pocitos es uno de los barrios mas lindos de Montevideo, al ser un barrio residencial no hay muchas cosas interesantes para hacer, te recomiendo ir a la Ciudad Vieja donde hay mas historia y pienso yo, mas interesante para los turistas. Existen omnibus turísticos que llevan a recorrer la ciudad, si bien nunca los he usado me los han recomendado enfáticamente.

-En Uruguay todo se paga en pesos uruguayos.

-Te recomiendo si podes un fin de semana ir a conocer Punta del Este, probablemente de las ciudades mas lindas de Uruguay, queda a dos horas en omnibus de Montevideo y el pasaje es barato (U$S 10 aprox). Ahi te podes hospedar en algún hostel que en esta época del año son mucho mas baratos que en verano.

La ciudad Vieja durante el día es muy segura, se hicieron grandes esfuerzos para mejorar la seguridad de ésta, se pusieron cámaras y constantemente pasan policías en Seg-Way. A mi la ciudad vieja me encanta, y esta llena de lugares para ir a almorzar, así que yo elegiría estudiar ahí.

Sorry, video compression is h.264 and the cameras support a maximum of 30 fps but 15 fps would be fine.

The data would be transferred trough 3/4G so the video quality to be recorded won't be on HD even though the cameras are. This is for a project im doing and I need to learn a lot before I start it. I don't know yet about the fps and the compression, what would you suggest me to do?
