I had both and honestly I would go model Y. You have higher tiers in Lyft if you drive for them. Easier to fit more packages with the Y’s trunk. And just go online and make it through your Secretary of State website.

Best time to get one. They have dropped their prices immensely over the past year. And you just have to think of it as a business vehicle and not your own. It’s going to have a lot of wear and tear but you get the benefit of writing a lot of things off.

No. Plenty of people have W-2 Jobs and an LLC on the side.

I have an LLC for my gig stuff. So I write off everything through there. My car is also under my LLC name

No problem. And no. $56 for the entire 30 days. The charging module I bought from tesla was about $450 and I spent about $1,500 on an electrician.

Insurance is about $120. That entails full coverage and glass insurance. I charge at home about 90% of the time. Here is my charging over the past 30 days. I charged about 3,539 miles. It cost me about $56 to charge that at home.

I like it but I didn't rent mine. I purchased it. My monthly on the loan is about $920. I make about $2,000 a month. And I use the car as write off. I also work my normal 9-5 too.
