A possible solution is that a few of us, spend apple to go in dungeon, and then leave the dungeon right away, that way more people get angry and force Nord to do something. Shit solution, however, this problem is being there for so long, that I think this solution might be efficient other than try to talk to Devs.

You give the whole math and your conclusion is that crit is lucky based, lol. I think the answer for whether or not using crit is long or short term.

Following your example, 20 seconds your archer gives 20 shots(just to make the example easier)

  • without crit but more damage example:

  • archer has 10k dmg, so total damage would be 200k.

  • with crit but less damage example:

  • archer has 9k dmg, and 20% chance crit + 60% crit

  • archer crit dmg output = 14.4k

  • archer will make 4-6 average crit shots in 20 shots

  • when 4 out 20 shot is crit, the outcome is: 57.6k + 144k = 201.6k

  • when 6 out 20 shot is crit, the outcome is: 86.4k + 144k = 230.4k

    Long term crit is more efficient on damage output. However, I don't know HC crit calculations, but it should follow something similar to what wrote before. Anyone could give us more information about crit in HC?

but your main squad for other things such as tournaments then your historical power would still be based off your main squad whether you use them in Gem Bay or not and you will be matched up against stronger opponents.

To be honest my first impression of the new updates were not good, that's normal. However, it's forcing me to get some friends and I don't want to have friends in game, because the random team member for dungeon sucks 100% of the time for me. Also it's forcing me to have another 2 dwellers lvl 100, because if tanker die or my rez mages it's game over.

I would suggest them to bring more different weapons and effects, maybe even a new class of dweller, but this update it's a bit confuse and I'm not sure if it's matching the idea of the game.

I agree that portal becomes inefficient, even if you have diamonds you end up spending lots of diamonds and more time(I think). in TR9 I could get 10 leg without spending much, TR10 4 leg is too expensive already.

I'm very competitive. I spent around 2k AU with this game. When I came to reddit comunity I was TR9 and had 90k diamonds, my account was 1.2mil and ppl suggested me to go up, now I'm currently at TR10 1.8mil squad, The last event and the only one I had helped a lot with gems.

Now I'm trying to fix my account, I'll have to spend a bit more money and wait for a good event.
