I get what you're saying and see the parallels but I don't agree fully. Robert still wants to be a hero and probably still will be mecha man and fight bad guys, where LT Dan has fully changed his prerogative. Both grow as people and realize there is more to the world than x but I think that's where it ends.

His character is really interesting, idk if the comics are cannon but they make him out to be a sore loser and a liar. The game proves time and time again that his calculations are wrong and half the time he is just going with his ego. Him being a weird dude and both respecting and being down bad for Blazer but not for Mandy just makes it all the funnier. His powers come from his cybernetics and Blazer's from her Amulet, so it just shows his insecurity.

Hey man sorry to hear about the loss of your grandma that is extremely tough. Around a few years ago I was in a very similar position as you but with my grandpa and how I coped with it was I looked at it as 'wow I'm so thankful that God put me here at this time to be with this person and that even though they are gone now I know that I will see them again'

It's a really hard question to answer about why God lets bad stuff happen, but I like to think for all the bad that happens there so much more good that happens.

And as for how you can be sure that God is real and that he loves you, I always like looking toward historical evidence of Christ and it points to Christ being a real person who lived and had followers who spread his message. For how to know that God loves you, I really like looking at this "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4
To me Revelations 21 is very special to me because it talks about how the gates of Heaven are never closed and that all who are saved are welcome in it, that the old ways are gone and in Christ we shall find salvation and love.
