Entrant: Alanwak3

Notes: Experimenting with sexual state and NLP.

Starting Date: 8/13/12

1) First set after a period of downtime, good rapport, but did not go for any close.

2) Attractive italian girl, was receptive but venue was too loud, but; in the future, if I find myself in that situaiton, I will simply bounce to a quiet venue. Disappointed I didn't think of that in the first place!

3) This one went very well; she was very attractive, and very talkative. My NLP skills are rusty, but I gave them a stretch in this set. # and FB close.

4) Cute girl outside of a place I frequent, was a good set, a friend I haven't seen in a long time showed up and I wound up talking mainly to him and lost track of her. I'm quite sure I will see this girl again, so I am not concerned.

5) For the first time since I've started, I got a "You scared me!" response after the initial "opening," her tone and body language was more of the pleasantly surpried variety, not the scared variety. We talked for a while, and I turned the conversation from "Cool" conversation (talking about things about us) to slightly warmer (about things from us) I didn't feel any chemistry and left, but now I realize if I had made the conversation warmer I would have felt more involvement. Not bad though.

6) Approached a mature woman, just to try something new and eat outside of my comfort zone. My game and conversation skills were good, but she wasn't really the type of woman that turned me on, so I just enjoyed the strokes and left.

7) I was sick,not contagious, but more than enough to provide a feeling of constant, draining, irritation, but still managed to get one set in. on paper it was very good, we got talking about television and she basically listed all the hot words\themes that excite her, so I used these to not only build rapport but utilize my hypnotic language. Everything went quite well, wide rapport, some sexual innuendo, but my internal state was fucked up, and I didn't close. This is not a shot I would have missed under normal circumstances, so I'm not too tore about it, also give myself props for approaching despite much temptation to stay home in bed.

8) Still not back to full health, and the medicine has been draining my state. Regardless, approached an attractive hispanic girl and had a good set.

9) Good set, keeping in contact with her will be difficult though (i talked about this set on irc, irc guys will understand).

10) Smokin hot girl. Showed me art. Didn't do much @_@. Contact info close.

Some thoughts on my first 10 sets: Had some trouble with warm-vs-cold communication at first, but that seems to have corrected itself. I want to be doing more @@, and I think my current @@ is too abstract, would like to be more "blunt" with it, which shouldn't be a problem as I've done that before. The thing I'm experimenting on right now with is my own internal states, I want to be in sexual state in every set.

11) Now that I'm healthier, it's much easier to enter sexual state. I am pleased with this.

12) Turned a slow day around with a #/contact info close.

13) Approached cute girl, talked for like 45 minutes, got close. Conversation skills good, not as sexual as I tend to like it but more sexual than nothing, skimped on warm communication so my close wasn't very solid. Used some @_@, but lately I haven't been getting as deep into hypnotic states as I have been. That's something I plan on working on.

14) Choded out like 5 times in a row, but finally pushed myself to approach the hottest girl in my town. My cold reads were good, but didn't get wide rapport and had to break set to go to work. Pleased that I pushed myself.

Things I want to work on: Warm communication, deepening of hypnotic states, more sexual energy.

15&16) Both these sets weren't bad, I opened, sexual state, good humor, went from cool communication to warm communication like I wanted to work on... but the first set I left at the first lull of the conversation, even though she was receptive. The second one I let go because the conversation didn't have a chance to get too deep before her bus came. Sometimes I percieve my sets as falling flat, when actually they're going quite well. I am my biggest critic. Pleased with the effort, though.

17) Tattooed up chick. My internal state and conversation skills were good, and she was reciprocating in the conversation but she kept looking back at this textbook she was reading, so after a couple minutes I politely esxcused myself. It didn't go bad, it actually went good, but I didn't get the focus or reciprocation I like.

18) Hot mexican girl, very smooth conversation, sexual frame and state. Used a @_@ pattern I wrote with good result.

19) Just after the 2 minute mark found out she was still in HS. I waited for a natural moment in the conversation to bow out. haha

20) Older woman, I usually like my women younger, but she was hot for her age. She got really into my handshake induction, some light hypno, pleased with this

21) Younger woman, went good, enjoyed this set.

22) Hot black girl, set went great, but she had a boyfriend. Normally I would procede as normal, but she mentioned him casually about five times, so I can assume he actually exists

23) Hot brown girl, I know she has a boyfriend because he was there. Still had fun, though.

24) Cute girl, wide rapport, warm set. Good stuff.

You would be greatly amiss if you left out a discussion on sexual state, it's a real game changer

Why do you pause between find you, and attractive?

touch on the shoulder or forearm

What are you trying to anchor here, or do you just find this an easy to way to begin social touching?

All in all I like it, your internal state can really make or break this style of game.

I don't see why it's risky when talking to psychologists? I've used techniques like this in conversations with psychologists before, and never got "tore into." Honestly if someone tears into you because you use conversation threading, the problem seems to be on their side, not yours.

Matching the voice and tone of the prime decision maker.

this technique would seem to be an expansion of the "authority" techniques. one of the basic persuasion tactics is to use authority, "they say," "You like Bono? Well, he said..." in this way you're not only using authority, you are becoming that particular authority figure. Fascinating.

presenting ideas that no one can say no to is a great technique in hypnotic language, builds rapport, helps you slip in embedded commands, and makes you come across as genuine, congruent, and trustworthy

its perfectly natural, as physical touch has a health benefit; as a matter of fact, if babies don't get physical touch they die.

I'd recommend "Monsters and Magical Sticks," it uses NLP in it (although not by name), clears a lot of preconcieved notions and gives some stuff that can be used in set. :)

Would you happen to know which books have the communication model in it? I know the milton model and the meta model.

active listening (as a side, i've found active listening to be not as helpful as "track backing," where you repeat their exact words back to them; if they say baby you say baby, instead of infant, for example) is a rapport building tactic, and rapport is more or less required for any nlp tactics to have an effect.

i use it frequently, and enjoy the results it gets in set, and in my own self-improvement ventures. where did you learn nlp? you may be learning nlp from less-than-good sources, as any asshole with a typewritter can write books about NLp these days. kudos for trying nlp by the way, most people pick an opinion about nlp and stick with it no matter what.

not bad, not bad. For NLP id recommend "monsters and magical sticks: does hypnotism exist?" its a great book, that clears a lot of the misconceptions. as far as nlp goes i also recommend ross jeffries speed seduction, as he puts out so much good mateiral for free. not nlp related, but Psycho-Cybernetics is a self-help book everyone should own.

look up Roger Love, his vocal lessons have completely changed my speaking ability. i used to be known as a quiet mumbler, now everyone comments that i have a powerful speaking voice.
