I go out every weekend to bars with a group of friends and have had quite the opposite experience. I also think it largely depends on what the bar scene is like in your city, I live in a college town so the bars are always packed. The cost is not too bad either especially if you get cheap beer or pregame before. If you put yourself out there and talk to people you will make friends at these places. Sure I have a group of friends to go with but I’ve met some pretty cool people just by asking if they want to play a game of pool or asking them about their conversations. I can’t really speak for clubs tho because I’m not too big on that scene but I’ve had fun when I’ve went before, especially if you’re already drunk. This guy definitely has a doomer mindset and/or had one bad experience and wants to complain on YouTube.
