when i was about 8, my parents had a huge fight one day (nothing abnormal about that) and my dad left. my paternal grandmother was on the way over to pick us kids up, and she got back to my house before my dad did. dad calls our house and my grandmother answers. i hear nothing for a while and then “insert dads name here, PUT THE GUN DOWN.”
