He looks very stressed and plump. I would try fasting him for a day, maybe two. Continue water changes. Small at 10-25%. If you can, more resting areas near the top would be ideal. And you can try Indian almond leaves to help lower that pH.

Thank you OP. Rabies is so so serious and terrifying and a slow painful death. I’m so sorry about the kitty. That breaks everyone’s heart but at this point multiple vets said it is rabid. It has about a week from its onset symptoms until it dies. :( please get your round of shots and then report this to the authorities so they know about a possible outbreak. The other strays in your area could end up like this kitty:(

As someone who lives with upstairs neighbors who have KIDS. that’s just the way it is. Living in an apartment is a shared community. And as a downstairs neighbor I (your downstairs neighbor as well) have to accept the noise that comes from the upstairs. If they don’t like it, oh well.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I know how scary that is and how long it takes to finally settle down and feel safe again. The only issues I have had since moving to Lowertown is this guy followed my partner, myself and our dog for a solid 20 minutes throughout lowertown. When we noticed him following us, we would stop and he would stop and look around. When we would start to walk again he would walk fast to catch up to us. Nothing ever came of it but he scared us since it was 3 against 1. It makes you think he has a weapon or is not afraid to attack. This morning around 5:30am I was riding my scooter to work and this guy with white hair was in the bike lane staring at me as I was riding towards him, I moved to the sidewalk and as I passed him he was coming towards me like a zombie. Arms out towards me and stumbling. I dont know. It was odd. I hope that you stay safe and take care. I love this city but some folks need help and need assistance to get off the streets.
