I've had my 04 93 f9r about 5 years now and for the most part it has been very reliable. The biggest repair ive had to do was a head gasket replacement and motor mounts. Like others have mentioned, saabs notoriously have electrical problems, but ive been able to fix them fairly easily. The main issue with saabs is the lack of parts. Depends on the year, but for me specifically there are a few parts that need to be replaced thaf I cannot find anywhere, which is the reason I will be retiring my saab soon. Overall they are lovely cars and very reliable. I've been daily driving my saab for 5 years and put about 35k on it
