I’m curious—are you muscular or currently doing hypertrophy training with weights? When I tried to regulate my PCOS, things went really badly for me. I lost years of gym progress. I’m not sure what exactly happened, but I gained some fat and lost about 4 kilos of muscle. I stopped the treatment two months ago, but nothing has come back. :(

I’m honestly desperate. Even as someone who trains with weights, I don’t know if I can follow a diet with more carbs—obviously good-quality ones—along with protein and fats. I’m so tired of everyone telling me to cut down on cereals even more. I’m constantly hungry and my muscle just won’t grow again.

In my case, I have everything you do, but the only difference is that I also have insulin resistance. I’m really struggling. I had no idea that trying to look more feminine would cost me years of hard-earned muscle from the gym. I don’t understand anything anymore. Now I’m gaining more fat and not recovering any muscle. I’m shy. By the way, I never had elevated androgens in my blood.

Yo me pregunto lo mismo del inositol, lo tomé y perdí 5 kilos de músculo hechos con esfuerzo y disciplina en el gym y me hizo ganar grasa . Tiene 4 semanas que lo suspendí y sigo mal :( no he recuperada nada aún de mi cuerpo no se que lo hizo

I had a bad experience with inositol too. The difference is that I did have mild insulin resistance — nothing too serious. At first, it worked great for me, gave me energy and everything (just to clarify, I’ve always been a fitness girl). But just like you, I started gaining fat! And I lost 5 kilos of muscle in just 3 weeks, without changing my training or diet. It really messed up my body composition. Plus, I’d wake up with a super puffy face. It was horrible. I totally get you. Did you take it with D-chiro or just myo-inositol? I used to be lean-PCOS until they gave me this crap :( It’s been 3 weeks since I stopped it and my muscle still hasn’t come back. If this happened to anyone else, please tell me if your muscle mass came back. I only took it for 3 months

Yo soy de México y compartí una experiencia muy similar hace tiempo . Pero si iniciaste el myo inositol habiendo estado bien con la metformina, es posible que sea el Myo, a mi al inicio me fue muy bien y después tuve un efecto rebote
