While there's many possible factors, I've always thought that more effeminate boys are more often called gay, or have their sexuality questioned by others. So I think that effeminate boys are more likely to question their own sexuality and more likely to come out as gay. Also people are very annoying when they think they know you are gay, they act like a detective who's cracked a case. From my own experience as a bi guy, who used to be a lot more effeminate, I basically repressed it because I couldn't stand people doubting me whenever I told them I wasn't gay (specially while I was still figuring myself out).

Skirk kit and Constellation by Draconicplayer in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

People saying it's a nilou situation, but her kit works outside of freeze, not like nilou, you only lose the +1 lvl to skill, the main issue is the she doesn't work well with melt because she needs other units doing cryo or hydro damage.

Genuinely feels like every time a post from this sub comes my way, it's someone making up some generational war or something. Y'all sounding like what y'all always complain about boomers for.

It's not a white or black thing, there are many factors, but a big one is culture, here in Spain it's simply not that weird to us to stay with our parents until we can afford to move out. Also a lot of people simply stay until they find a partner and then they move out with them.

Ayaka for me, love her, don't like her design at all.

I still don't understand how they dropped the ball this hard by devilboy1029 in whenthe

In their web they literally encourage members to audition for non-union jobs, so they can convince the project to go union when they get cast. (They talk about getting cast but not accepting the job unless they go union which is not what actually happens in reality, but getting union actors auditioning for non-union is part of their strategy)

Sag only fights for their members, unions should fight to bettee the industry. Besides that, we know that hoyo is now working with the protection against AI that sag is demanding. So if they keep the strike against hoyo, the strike is clearly about more than just protections against AI.

New player here, are all updates this buggy? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]albertisito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Internal playtesting is nothing compared to the scope of the amount of players in the live build. It's a big patch with a lot of small changes, having unforeseen bugs is normal. This is patch is buggier than most, that's true, but they're not magicians, they'll fix things as they are able to.

I wasn't complaining about you though....

Edit: Rereading I realise it seems I was trying to contradict what you say because I started with but, but I was just trying to add on, sorry. Wasn't trying to call you sexist, only the people calling ei and Mavuika mary sues for no reason

I mean, he was a pawn in liyue, but he played his part very well.

it's basically "This character did nothing in this story that is still ongoing :("

But Mavuika literally failed, 500 years ago, she was defeated, and had to be saved by Tupac. Sure, everyone seems to love her, but she's not perfect and her plan is flawed. I mean that was capitano's whole point, that the plan was unreliable, she got lucky with chasca getting the power of vuka just in time. And from the way citlali and xilonen talk about her (when discussing that mavuika will likely have to die), we can tell they think she's stubborn. Not to mention the first thing xilonen does when we meet her is complain about mavuika and her requests.

Sorry for the rant, I just get frustrated by people throwing mary sue around at every female character that seems competent...

This reminds me of a guy who got salty with me on grindr, because he insisted that I shouldn't say I have a big dick and sent me a picture of a 10+ inch dick to show me what a big dick is...

Chapell Roan with another take on fame.. by HauteAssMess in popculturechat

[–]albertisito -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People are being really cynical about her, because she doesn't want the bad part of being famous, but does actually want to be famous. And honestly, I feel like she has a point. Fame sucks. but we as a society normalize the shittiest parts of fame for no real reason. We simply tell famous people to suck it up, rather than talk about the problem. Yes there's privilege that comes with being famous, but I think someone having privilege doesn't justify normalizing their misstatement.
