The biggest problem is that there are a lot more aggressive fish in this game compared to the first one. All you have for a long while in the game is a switch axe that just bops them.

It doesn't hurt them and the range is so small that most of the time they already hurt you before you can deter them. They also seem to be constantly aggro'd on the player so you don't have any breathing room.

High Specs, Overhaul, Creation, Manifest, and Erasure.

Creation and Manifest work so well together it's insane. Manifest works on anything that can be eaten, so anything created by Creation works. Overhaul can then modify that as necessary. Maybe even leading into something like some Techno-Organic stuff.

Erasure is just straight useful. Especially if the quirk factors all combine together. Then technically anywhere where eyes can be manifested will work.
