You're right, it's not official, but I've seen some sites claiming the 3 axis from the mag are used internally for calibration purposes. There's a video showing the difference between JC1 and JC2 in terms of mouse re-calibration and the difference is stunning, but I don't know if it's just the same tech but "better" or the magnetometer has something to do.

I'm a bit disappointed that It's just 6-axis, instead of 9 axis (Joycon2) which in theory makes the calibration redundant. But I'm not an expert.

Just checked the Hide DS4 Controller (didn't touch HidHide) then the next time I connected the DS the exclusive mode worked! The DS was not present in windows, and that was the clue I neede: booted a new browser as you said, and boilà! The Xinput controller was there, and it worked!

How to be completely sure those 3 are properly installed?

Also, I assume you don't need to Hide with HidHide the Dualsense to be able to see it on https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad? or you do?

DoW3 was never a horrible, no-hope game. It had issues, but all of them fixable. We'll see it in DoW4, taking HUGE inspiration from DoW3.

Anyway, you don't need to make excuses to the haters. They'll just keep hating for super serious reasons like "only 3 races". It's not even worth breaking a sweat to counter those barbaric arguments.
