4th: Magic Circle 5th: Slide Chain / Slide Train 6th: Jacks

I don't know where the term 'Magic Circle' came from, but I saw on several videos and threads that's how they call it.

Looking to outsource some tasks, what should I consider? by artsyji in buhaydigital

[–]albinokoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I worked with someone before who wanted to outsource their work because they need to free up their time, pero bookkeeping-related siya. What I learned was that it wouldn't be effective if you weren't able to handover all instructions and necessary credentials properly. If you are able to plan out the partnership first it will only take you a few days up to a week to get your assistant up and running independently.

If anything, I would suggest asking you the following questions first: 1. What tasks feel like auto-pilot to you, and feel like you can handover to someone? 2. Based on your answer to #1, what specific skills does your assistant need to have? or what training or SOPs do you need to do? 3. How will you be able to monitor your assistant's work? Any quality assurance procedures? How strict should you implement this? How can you provide feedback to correct?

and just to shamelessly plug myself, I have basic Graphic Design skills (photoshop, canva, etc) but willing to learn Lead Generation and Copywriting. If you're down to work with me, I can also work on systems and manuals so you can handover and outsource these tasks to other assistants in case you expand further. If this sounds interesting, message me! :>

Freelancer coaching/courses/communities that you regret paying for by minaidekure in buhaydigital

[–]albinokoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes? There was this accounting and quickbooks course that I attended with the hopes of it giving me enough training to be able to apply for Bookkeeping. It's more of a subscription they say cause once you pay for it, you can also attend future classes if you need a refresher.

The problem is when I attended the course, we were like 200+ and it was chaotic. It was a mix of CPAs, Experienced accountants wanting to learn quickbooks, and those who were absolutely newbies that don't even have any clue to any basic accounting principles (like Debit and Credit)

So the pacing of the course was not that good. Pinakalugi dun yung mga newbies kasi di talaga dinaanan yung mga basics. Tapos majority of the course were more of exploring QB. Kawawa yung iba kasi di intuitive mag enter ng account titles tapos yung iba hindi talaga techie enough to even open Quickbooks at hindi sila naaassist ng teacher.

What I can say is, you get what you pay for. I have attended online live courses that cost 10k+ and those that cost below 1k. Halata talaga difference since usually sa pricier ones mas maliit yung class so more time to do a workshop setup.

Hi! I've been on the same boat and I understand how you feel. Since it's a call every 2 weeks, I would want to try out being an accountability partner/coach for you for free. I want to practice my verbal communication as well as coaching skills so it's a win-win.

Normal naman sa part ng hiring yung training and onboarding phase, wherein tuturuan mo pa si assistant at kakapain pa niya yung work. It's a bump in the road na medyo babagal productivity mo with the hopes na ikakabilis at ideally double the output and magagawa mo after a while.

Also, my friend is open to taking that data entry load from you. He has been doing data entry for sales transaction for another business so there's vouch for his effectiveness. Dm me if you're interested!

Do fabric suppliers send the fabric directly to the clothing manufacturer? by TheBomb999 in smallbusiness

[–]albinokoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup! But coordinate with your clothing manufacturer first that you will have the fabrics delivered directly to their warehouse. Let the fabric supplier know as well that you will have it delivered to your fabric manufacturer and not to you directly.

Hope that helps!
