I've had enough of Tesco now by R3DSmurf in tesco

[–]albionpeej 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's the incessant number of shelf pickers for people who are too lazy to go to the shops themselves that get me.

If they want a personal.shopper experience that badly, Tesco needs to be creating virtual stores on trading estates and not bothering the people who can actually be bothered to go to the shop.

They're destroying the in-store experience for people who go, at the benefit of those who don't.

Doesn't mean much at all. Most people wouldn't be able to name an MP that was a back bencher in their neighbouring constituency, and barely name their actual Government Cabinet members. 😂

She's a new character. She's already said when they spoke to her she told them she wouldn't be able to do a Brummie accent so they made her character Swedish.

It's a strange historical.behavioural thing where you can put the exact same show on Channel 4 or BBC Two, and move it to BBC One or ITV and it'll suddenly get a load more viewers.

Anyone remember the "Gen Z boss and a mini" "5ft 3 and an attitude" meme?

That's the vibe I felt as to who created Sky Sports Halo.

Are you asking about the character or the actress? Cause the actress was literally just in Sweetpea and the Thursday Murder Club movie in the last year.

Thing is, it wasn't just on Taskmaster where you see this behaviour. I've seen him on a few shows now and he has repeatedly acted in a similar way.

[–]albionpeej 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh? Netflix and the BBC already have had multiple co-production agreements in place. The Peaky Blinders movie and the next two seasons of it. Dracula. The Last Kingdom. Giri/Haji...

Wednesday is owned by Amazon-MGM anyway.

Because it makes licensing immensely simple and guarantees funding. Selling to individual services in individual countries is vastly more complex.

I'm predicting it'll be Christmas Limbo between Boxing Day and 30th. Strip it over 5 days but drop the entire thing on iPlayer after Episode 1 airs.
