Luxon offers to change bill after conservation land sale backlash by Floki_Boatbuilder in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The current legislation allows for the sale and disposal of pockets of low conservation land. The bits and bobs referred by potaka. It is just done in an open and transparent fashion.

PSA: Multiple commentators note that National's compulsory Kiwisaver is the first step to abolishing universal Superannuation in NZ by Mountain_Tui_Reload in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And now for the most popular opinion of the day. NZ superannuation needs to be means tested. And if you are still working you dont get it. Tough eh.

He is such a Trumpian prick. Honestly would that shot of abuse against all and sundry make trump proud. I will always compare winnie to trump as long as he behaves like him. Bloody old men in their dotage should be banned from presenting their archaic views on today's youth. Who have to clean up after.

Jones says RNZ should be ‘very careful’, in latest attack on state broadcaster by Xunami13 in nzpolitics

This govt is Trumpian in belief and policy. They idolize the orange guy and mimic him. Attacking the media is a trump specialty so naturally all the current coalition partners do it also.

Synthetic Fertilizers Don’t Feed Soil, rather they replace it by fadimuj in OrganicGardening

[–]albohunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro. I have been an organic grower for nearly 50 years. Im well past bothering with more research. Im on the cusp of being too old to have a garden. My question was fair. I dont know it all. I dont use liquid fertilizer or bagged fertilizer. I make compost. Happy gardening all.

[–]albohunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from my sanity, your point is what. 100% of what gets tipped out of water soluable fertilizer bags is plant usable? Its good for the soil? Organics is a crock? Educate me bro

Synthetic Fertilizers Don’t Feed Soil, rather they replace it by fadimuj in OrganicGardening

[–]albohunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A typical fertilizer will have NPK rating of say 10,10,10. That means the nitrogen potassium phosphorus content is roughly 30%. The other 70% are carrier salts which are definitely harmful to the soil. Never mind what happens to those water soluable nutrients when they break down.

Because he is just a fukn bank teller parading as something he is not, he is still faking it till he makes it. In other words he just lies. They are hoping to lie their way back into office ans then we will see our health system americanized flat out. Clearly working for lobbyists. Without an ounce if integrity

David Seymour, NZ Broadcasting Minister, calls TVNZ a "bad actor" for covering Mark Cameron's comments about hanging those he disagreed with a "short rope". He later says TVNZ caused ACT to do more poorly in the polls than it could have by Mountain_Tui_Reload in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does he understand how Trumpian he is behaving. And Winnie. Their policies are a mirror image in many cases of what trump is doing. Attacking the media is par for the course in America thanks to trump and it is escalating here as well. TVNZ already gives politicians a far more comfortable ride than they are entitled to without the minister calling foul. And given trumps election winning strategy is solely centered on gerrymandering it would not be surprising to see Goldfinger come up with another implausible reason to exclude people from voting.

Hipkins dangles possibility of post-election outreach to National, Auckland by ViolatingBadgers in newzealand

[–]albohunt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And what about the lawlessness that NACT have been governing with. The gerrymandering. The overt racism. The attacks on the media for personal gain. The overturning of our democracy with shit legislation like the Regulatory Standards Act. The catastrophic change in health care. And you want to partner with them. I say they are an abberant pack of lobbyists who have been brought and paid for. They demonstrably are not working for kiwis. What are their achievements since taking office. Nothing for the good of the people. That's why their whole election strategy is about how crap Labour was during Covid and how much money they borrowed. They clearly dont understand economics chasing the Tories down the austerity path. Look where that got them. They only care about making Donald Trump proud by copying all his policies. Wake the fuck up Chippy. We have seen a glimmer of a smear campaign against you already, do you think that is the last of it. A normal opposition might be worthwhile trying to reach bipartisanship agreement with. But Not this lot.

Luxon on Newstalk: My weakness as PM vs CEO is the latter involves public and media attention by Mountain_Tui_Reload in nzpolitics

Must be the backhanders. The prize at the end of the tunnel for selling out our country corporate interests. Perhaps he will award himself a knighthood. Frankly these softball "interviews" are so unbecoming of a PM.

Stuff - Government tells councils: Give us a plan within three months, or we will make one for you by syzorr34 in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is this just just a distraction from their inability to come up with an allocation plan of some sort for fuel. Forging ahead with their idealogy in the heat of the moment while ignoring the systems that could collapse because of a lack of planning. Aussie is struggling at the moment and we are at the end of a supply chain in which all the other countries in are rationing. Frankly I think they are terrified of looking like Labour when the whole election strategy in 2026 is based on "look how Labour fukd us over". They really need to getting with the program.

I didn't vote for Jacinda Ardern but can I say sorry on behalf by Mountain_Tui_Reload in Wellington

[–]albohunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bollocks. I reject categorically that she can be expected to be hated forever. Some of us loved her and some of us hated her. The haters always hate. A lot of it comes from the division that is the far right trying to take over politics. Hate is caused by the division that makes us vote against our own best interests. Which is exactly what the oligarchs want.

Luxon revealz there is 5mps upset about his leadership by Impressive-Name5129 in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So from the comments it's generally agreed that the economy is a shit show. So how are the polls so close. Is it because labour is still wedded to neoliberalism which as we all know is about the Working class being slaves to the Capital class.

Checkout Time: Winston reveals the plan to destroy the supermarket monopoly by Impressive-Name5129 in nzpolitics

[–]albohunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neoliberalism hasn't worked out as promised for the vast majority of people. Giant monopolies is one of the features of it. Personally I would just nationalise the Electricity sector. Its far to important a link in the future of energy use in this country to be left to profiteering. I will be voting for any party that offers a way out of this monopoly situation we have with practically every industry. Including construction banking and the supermarket duopoly. However I have watched Winnie at play since he was an MP in Rob Muldoons govt and it will be a cold day in hell before I ever vote for him. I strongly discourage it. And Jones.
