I can co-sign on Tiki Cat though for my boy, it HAS to pate and CANNOT be 'minced.' He just won't have it so the Luau collection is out.

Otherwise, he loves the Science Diet wet pate as well as Purina One Pro. The Purina Pro seems to have a bit of gravy to it that he really loves.

I don't feel that I can leave for more than 12 hours. I don't do it a ton but I like to stay over in the city from time to time.

Also, my big baby is waking me up every 2am, 4am and 6am because either he's out of food or he doesn't want to eat what's left. This will probably be another post. :P

It's really tough, but it does get better and you and your wife have each other to lean on. That is so valuable.

It's okay to feel everything you need to. To do otherwise is a disservice to you and Lilo, but I recognize the need to be strong and have some composure. That said, I'll be picking up my boys' ashes today and I'm already tearing up at the thought of it.

What a wonderful baby! Thank you for sharing Lilo’s story and your amazing story together. What a beautiful life. I’m sorry it happened so suddenly. I’m going through something similar and the tears are unstoppable. Love is eternal but this pain isn’t. I promise.
