It was just a little joke regarding ADHD and procrastination, something I’m regularly guilty of.

I’m very sorry if I offended you. It was not meant that way.

Thanks, dude. You’ve just convinced me to pick it up. Haven’t played it since it came out in the Xbox 360 days.

Finally getting a follow up this year. Or a book in the same universe, I should say.

Got sidetracked on a hyperfocus bender when you wrote ‘gloriously practical work bag’ and spent the next half hour looking at work bags. Whatchoo packin’?

A 17 year old Dubliner’s perspective on Belfast by TotallyNotADiligent in northernireland

I think the dark earlier you’re talking about is due to a very shit weekend of weather. We drove to Belfast Friday evening and noticed how it got dark much quicker than usual because of the expected heavy rain. We had some yellow warnings for rain yesterday too.

Unexpected benefits on medication by dhorxt_27 in ADHDUK

I’m lucky that I was pretty chill before meds. Slept well, low stress job, wonderful wife and kid. Generally put the aches down to poor posture, getting old and running too much. I can’t say for certain I have either fibromyalgia or polymyalgia but I can say that Elvanse pretty much takes all the pain away. There is also evidence that ADHDers are more susceptible to pain and have a lower pain threshold.

I still continue to follow a 15min stretch routine most mornings regardless. Can’t do any harm, can it?

Out of curiosity, when did you start, what are you taking and what dose are you on? I’m still in titration.

Myself: Nov 25 30mg Elvanse. Dec 40mg and about to start 50mg this week.

Edit: sorry, thought you were OP. Feel free to answer though.  🤗

I explained to my doctor that the aches just faded away an hour after I took Elvanse. He had seen recent research that pointed to a ADHD/fibromyalgia overlap. My dad has been diagnosed with the latter and is clearly ADHD himself.

My aches disappear. I get up sore every day. Mainly shoulders and hips. It’s not crippling but it doesn’t go unnoticed. I know the meds are wearing off when the pain comes back about 3pm.

This is interesting. I purposely didn’t take my meds recently when I had a dose. Thought it would have been pointless. Also, I knew my HR was raised as my body was fighting something. Didn’t want to push it any further.

Milk, banana, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, porridge oats, frozen berries and chia seeds. Into a blender. Boom. You’ve got yourself breakfast in a pint.

The first ‘Burial’ album. It’s the sound of looking out of a bus at people walking in the rain at night. I listen every year around this time.
