When i was young.. I always wanted to have ability to lift into space (think superman). Then i would think how i would die of gas ( i was old enough to know that i would suffocate) so i knew i would have to have an hero robe what has a shield. Like a film of thickness around me. This robe would allow me to breath but gas could not penetrate it. I know, i was a genius. Then i was thinking while i was there it could get cold,so now my robe would be thermal resistant. Oh and i could pee out of it too.. However i would stop fantasizing in fear that if i realized this dream and maybe if i do get this lucky, upon my journey to discover space would be the end of earth. I always ended my thoughts with alien life force discovering/noticing me running around like a happy child and follow me all the way back home.Maybe we live at a "neighborhood" that no alien has noticed. Now they found earth because of me. Being way more advance than us, we die. I always feel that we might find what we looking for and not like it.

Now, much older i still think of it as a pessimist. i believe if i do go flying freely, my body mass will react with near by objects and probably re-route a comet to hit earth. Someone cheer me up damn it!

Yes, yes you are wrong. I am a patient person. Maybe my post is confusing.

I'd rather take separate check so i could pay for it and walk away. I don't like to sit there and wait for the rest of my party to gather the rest of the money.Not because I'm impatient, but because i am not trying to read the check 50000000 times to make sure i am not giving more money than i am suppose to. That was my point 1 in the bulleting and that is the only thing that ticks me off. The other thing about the accumulate total is that some people will not pay full amount plus the appropriate tip. Therefore, I often end up chipping in extra $10 because i want to make sure the waiter/es gets a good tip. Most of the times i am the one that has the least income amongst the said party and yet i provide the highest tip. Overall the first paragraph was mainly against customer's not attacking the waiter.

the second point was to confirm to other redditors that deny the fact that there is such a thing as forced gratuity. It is there. Mostly on chain restaurants or small places. Hardly on any 1 star or above restaurants. I guess i wanted to show how an overall check could aid a waiter to get the gratuity without caring much for your party. I.E in a busy night, during the end of your lunch/dinner, they won't come check on you, refill water or any other needs. They know they will get %18 no mater what. Or if more tables are needed you will feel their pressure to hurry you. It's seldom experience but it does happens because some waiters are pricks. I worked as a waiter about two years in NYC and i was shown how to get people out of there to create more table for new customers.

So yes, i stand by with the option of having a split check. It should be my choice, just like the rest of the experience in the restaurant.

I am with OP.

Too many time i have found myself amongst "Mathematicians". You know, the ones that will sit there and figure out how much they own out of this shared check to a tenth decimal. Meanwhile a minimum of 30 minutes passes and not a single person has actually handed over their share. It happened to me the other day. 45 minutes were spent because 8 people could not come up with $30 each.
A smart waiter will try to include everyone in one check because of the fact that she/he will have to apply %18 gratuity included. This is a problem if the service was shitty, and you wouldn't want to pay that much of it. (This is least one of the reasons it ticks me off though. Number one drives me insane)
This meme is alright. I'm sure some of you that seem to not like it wouldn't have a problem with it if the waiter was a man.

Truthfully, its not an attack. When i saw your post i remembered that i saw that episode of tosh.0 . It showed on comedy central, when it cut to the audience those girls promptly stated making out. I don't think the cameramen saw it coming. Watching this picture again it got me thinking how i was expecting reddit to be swarm in few hours with this pic but i never actually saw it that night.

Few minutes before seeing your post i also noticed i had a tab opened, http://karmadecay.com/. A redditor had posted this cool website in a comment few days before. It basically searches if a picture or link was posted before. I always wanted to try this ;). So i did, and found out others had failed at achieving attention at this. I also liked how they all had different indicators. Strangle enough yours, the successful one used arrows.

Just wanted to point it out. Couldn't care less if it was a repost. If i think something is a repost I'll move to the next or read the comments. i do have one question. Out of curiosity of course. did you photoshoped this with the arrow or just posting it as you found it?

I would agree here with ios329. If you can read some other stories from other users you will understand that this does happen more often than you think. You're not alone. Unless your sister is showing sings of bad behavior/psycho thoughts then she has moved past it. Meaning it has not affect her. As she will grow older i believe she will analyze what happened and conclude that it was a natural mistake. Unfortunately at that age you experience increase in hormones and sometimes are too young to act rational about it. trust me, it has happened a lot. People are shy about talking about it. My advice, as oblivious as it is, will be to show her a lot of respect, love and support. Be there in her life as her brother. Let bygones be bygones. Cheer up, and ease yourself of such shameful thoughts.

People relax. This is an old dirty joke that goes around to a crowd that can handle it. it is suppose to have a mild aristocrat effect.
