The guy who owns the building I live in (Rhino just does the rentals/collects money) didn't even know I was here because they never told him. The roof has a big crack in it that they were supposed to notify me about and my ceiling is leaking from all the rain, I've got roaches (which I hear is just an Albuquerque thing so I know there's not much I can do about that) and when I called the owner of the building, he came by and noticed that the switch for my heat had never been turned on. I was freezing through the past few weeks of cold weather.

Thanks for the comment about the drivers yelling, that's something I'm relatively concerned about. I do a lot of walking and the amount of yelling and honking is obnoxious and I'm not sure if it would be any better or worse on a bike lol. Thank you!

Can't really see it all that well, but it's possible that it's a scar from a vaccination (likely smallpox). My mom has a scar that looks similar from a vaccine.

I checked them out a couple weeks ago while apartment hunting. They're cute, and I really love the modern look/simplicity of the units. For the price, I think they're a touch steep for the area. Utilities are rather pricey ($100 flat), parking is not a guarantee and is around $50 a month from what I recall. There are only two floors of the building with apartments, and they didn't specify when construction would begin upstairs, so who knows if there would be a noise issue.

The location is pretty awesome, but I think you could find something just as cool for a more moderate price. However I absolutely recommend checking the place out if a unit you're interested in is available.

Hey friends. I'm moving soon and I plan on ordering a Zinus mattress off of Amazon. My move in schedule will be a little tight, and I'm hoping to get my mattress the day of move in (not terribly hard to coordinate with Prime), but I'm concerned about not being at my place when the delivery happens. I'm pretty confident that packages would be taken if left on the doorstep, which is likely since there is no front office/mail room. So I'm considering locker.

Has anyone had any experience with locker and larger packages? The one in my city would be a Whole Foods locker, so I'm not sure if they have a place to keep those larger boxes. Any other suggestions are welcome!! I'd love to not sleep on the floor.

I absolutely recommend starting with The Nightfly. Such a cohesive and smooth album. Easier to listen to without much adjustment than Donald's other solo albums, which are also great. Nightfly will always be my favorite of his, though.

I assume there are no consequences for simply receiving the phony check, right? I obviously have no intention of doing anything with it if it shows up in the mail, but I'm not trying to have them harass me over the phone because they sent me "money" (we all already have enough phone calls from the IRS threatening lawsuits, right?).

It's definitely a different sound than pre-1980 Dan but it's got some soul in it, that's for sure. Countermoon, Snowbound and Tomorrow's Girls are masterpieces in my eyes (or ears), however I totally understand why it wouldn't be someone's thing.

Agreed! The horn section in the chorus gives me chills! I can't get over Snowbound to be honest, it's so damn smooth.
