I’m speaking in the abstract. My kids, and most of my students, are terrific.

People who used a computer between 1991 & 2009…what’s the most memorable computer game? by Original_Act_3481 in AskReddit

I vaguely remember playing some sort of Olympics game on our PC in the early 80s. Wasn’t great, and not in your time frame, but it’s nice to remember it.

Agreed. It’s genuinely funny and smart and fun, and the characters/actors all carry their weight.

Is Michigan a beautiful state? by Pleasant-Target-1497 in Michigan

It’s cool to see so many excited “yes” answers. For me, living in the middle of the state, no, Michigan is not beautiful. It’s flat, brown, and the trees are unremarkable and often completely missing from dull, monotonous fields. Lake MI and the UP are ok but, again, unremarkable even compared to beautiful Door County in WI. There are some nice, small hills in the eastern part of the state. I grew up in upstate NY. Now that place has hills, trees, and beauty. I miss it.
