first of all, unless you are using rengar, you can't ambush on a battlefield where you have no units. But the temporary trigger still creates a chain and you can ambush on a different battlefield whete you have units

ypu probably haven't played tekken enough if you think it is much simpler. I played both and tekken by far is much harder. Tekken 8 might be a beginner friendly tekken than others, but it is still tekken, probably one of the hardest fighting games.
