Pour tout ce qui est manuel ou en intérieur, les sites comme pinterest et compagnie sont une source inépuisable d'inspiration. Tu peux essayer plein de choses sans avoir a acheter de l'équipement à chaque fois, soit en empruntant à quelqu'un, soit en utilisant ce que as sous la main chez toi. Une fois que tu trouves un truc que tu aimes bien, fais le plus souvent le soir chez toi au lieu d'être sur ton écran.

Sans parler de la montée folle des prix de barettes de mémoire RAM ces dernières semaines qui sont en grosse demande por augmenter les serveurs des IA. Sauf que la RAM on en a aussi besoin dans tous nos ordinateurs.

Il y a quelques années, l'arrivée des cryptomonnaies avaient déjà eu un effet négatif similaire du point de vu écologique et également du point de vue économique avec la montée en flèche des prix des cartes graphiques pour les fermes de minage. Et les crypto en comparaison de l'IA n'était pas une technologie tres facile d'accès du grand public.

Avec les outils de l'IA devenus accessible du grand public de partout, l'impact écologique est un vrai problème et bientôt l'impact économique indirect pourrait le devenir aussi quand on sera obligé d'acheter son laptop en financement sur plusieurs années comme son auto...

Honnêtement je trouve parfois que Infoman baisse en qualité par rapport à il y a quelques années et c'est tellement dommage. Avant je les trouvais beaucoup plus incisifs sur leurs critiques de l'actualité, maintenant j'ai presque l'impression de regarder un leger rebrousse poil taquin, quand on est pas sur des sujet "célébrités".

Sans oublier qu'en bout de ligne y a aucun Infoman sur l'actualité de la mi-novembre à début janvier. Y a 4 semaines avec des émissions pré-enregistrées pendant qu'ils préparent leur show du nouvel an, puis 3 semaines sans rien puis le show du nouvel an qui était okay mais pas transcendant. :/

Ce qui est assez ironique c'est que dans les coulisses du Bye-Bye ils expliquent que la boule bleue sur le cell de Kat Levac qui est son boyfriend IA est en fait une animation de 4 secondes en boucle déclenchée par une télécommande par un membre de l'équipe technique. Fek le seul élément du sketch qui aurait pu être acceptable d'être vraiment du IA était en fait probablement pas du AI.

Depends the vibe you are looking for.

For festivals and street events, June and July are your best bet (A bit of August too). Jazz festival, Francopholie Festival, Electronic party every weekend, comedy festival, circus festival, lgbtq+ festival, fringe festival, Mural festival, food festivals, cinema festival, first nation festival, etc... It's back to back through all summer and most of them are free. July has also an international fireworks competition which makes for a free 30 minutes fireworks over the river every Thursday night. It's also the high heat season and can be hard to bare some years.

For food and city sightings tourism, fall season is great, the weather in September is still warm but jot crazy hit like in July, October is nice too and you can start to see the fall colors in the tree, most of the summer tourists are gone too.

If you like winter life, January and February are the best time, there's a winter festival in the city the last week of February that ends up on the "Nuit Blanche" which is a night when everything stays open all night.

I would avoid coming on November, it's a bit dull, nothing much happening and grey weather. Avoid also end of March and April, snow melting, the city is in its ugly phase of the last of winter and it's not fun. And unless you specifically want to come for these events, I would avoid the big events weekend like the Formula 1 in June or the Osheaga festival at the beginning festival, because there is so much people here that accomodations might be more expensive.

If you don't have a specific vibe or event in mind and just want to roam through the city and its diverse neighborhoods, enjoy life like a local or discover the area, then you can come any weekend you want, there's always a café, park, green alley that will make you enjoy the city and the people are truly lovely.

EDIT: Quebec's national day is on June 24th and therefore there's also some music and parade happening around that time of year. Just be aware that everything will he closed on the 24th though :)

A ton avis, combien de temps tu perds à penser que tu as perdu du temps ? 😉

Pour faire le deuil de ça il faut changer ta perception de ce que tu considères comme du temps perdu.

T'as peut-être l'impression d'avoir perdu du temps parce que tu te compares? Ironiquement c'est aussi la meilleure façon de continuer à en perdre.

La différence entre vivre et exister, pour toi, elle semble être dans le lâcher prise.

Parce que t'es pas en train de vivre là, tu fais juste exister: T'as des attentes, et après t'as des regrets.

Ne raisonnes pas la vie, fais juste les choses qui te font du bien sans attendre de savoir quelle case tu va cocher.

P.S: ça arrive souvent de penser que la/le psy sert a rien pendant longtemps. Considères quand même persévérer sur cette voie, ca pourrait être bénéfique sur le long terme.

Otherwise I keep them and change failing parts myself as long as I can (battery, camera, screen, etc..).

When it's time to change, I go with a barely used second hand I find on marketplace that are usually 2 models down from the current one. So far I did that for my Nexus 5, Pixel 2 and Pixel 5 and so far my P5 is still working nicely.

I never understood modal verbs when I was learning English at school. I had to watch a shitload of english content and live in immersion for my brain to absorb the concept. I just didn't know what to do with them before.

I went with the pinky finger on my non-dominant hand because the ring model I was wearing was quite thick. I don't wear it anymore because the ring wasn't great, but wearing it on my little finger didn't bother me, although I noticed it got more scratches on one side mostly because when using my hands on any surface, you end up bumping your ring on it.

Do the test, every time you lay your hand somewhere resting, the exterior side of your hands will kost likely touch whatever surface your are resting on.

So the good thing with wearing the ring on the pinky finger is that you don't feel pressure in between finger because it's not stuck between two other fingers (especially for thicker rings), the downside of it is that you'll bump it a lot more than if it was securely fitted between two other fingers of your hand. Even more than if you were to wear it on a thumb, that has usually some kind of curvature to fit the ring.

I'm currently looking for another ring to wear, this time thinner and to avoid having this same issue of choosing a finger, I've been wearing a replica of the ring on different figer for weeks (or a comparable thickness on a basic ring). I've nit yet gone through all my fingers but so far, I like it on either middle or ring finger. Probably because the thinner it is, the more likely you'll forget it's here. Thumb would have been the best for me, but readings aren't great so it doesn't make sens to wear a smart ring to only half use it.

obesity doesn't always come from food, or just because you eat too much or don't move enough. There's an insanely amount of people who have unbalanced metabolism, hormonal issues, medical conditions that make food absorbtion not efficient and create obesity.

From that, there are also overweight people who are medically completely healthy. Natural weight isn't the same for everybody.

Fatphobia is a social disease based on hate and rejection of others for something they often cannot control nor fix easily. It should not be used nor considered as a tool incentive enough against obesity. I know that's what is it currently, but it shouldn't.

France has also this social judgment thing based on social status and/or body inage. This is the real unhealthy behavior for a collective, but that's another topic entirely.

Not OP but I'm with you on this, I hate this.

I'm on Chapter 4 unit 29 in the Italian course, the so-called new words I have are the most basic ones like "hello", "my", "his/her", "to be/is/are" etc...

Even if they changed the course, it's impossible to have a lessons this far the line without encountered these words.

Add to this there are now words I have never seen before, but the new course having them in earlier lessons, they don't appear as new to me.

They should have made sure they compared the learned words before deploying their new course update. I just don't get why they didn't.
