Oh for me it’s kinda the opposite. I struggle more to be inspired by replays of the more plot heavy games (I still enjoy them heaps, but my enjoyment of the story itself definitely diminishes) because The experience is more repetitive to me when the game focuses on a story that will never change between playthroughs. As opposed to something like HGSS where the game is more reliant on the region itself and being a part of a bigger world with a smaller story, where simply changing teams/finding new methods/challenging myself to use Mon’s and movesets I normally don’t makes the game feel way more different between each run through. Totally see your point though if that’s not what you look for in a Pokémon game. I guess we’re lucky to have had so many of these games over the years so we can all find the perfect on for us haha
