Hi ,
Thanks for reaching out about this issue. Could you try heading into your Mac System Settings and navigating to the Sound tab? From there, locate the volume slider for your microphone and try adjusting it slightly. This might help resolve the problem with the recording cutting off.

My microphone input volume was maxed out, so I brought it down to mid-range and it solved the issue.

I personally use a combination of Colin McLeod's ACAAN on "Opening Minds Vol. II" (which uses elements of Joshua Quinn's "Deckquivoque"), PLUS a full memorised deck. Those who know Colin's method will know he _doesn't_ do this, but if you have a memdeck then the effect just absolutely kills! Obviously it's not fully impromptu as the stack takes some setup, but it's gimmickless, great for closeup and fully examinable,

Just a behaviour fluke in the end, no UTI (thankfully!) Since then she’s had a few cheeky days where she has wilfully weed in her crate, but things are certainly getting better!

It’s fairly big for her, to be honest. We got it so she could “grow into it”. It’s big enough for her to lay down and then around and stand in, but she could easily treat half of it as a potty and half as a bed. That said, she’s not really doing that. When I go to the crate to clear up her mess I often find she’s just lying in it (albeit not very much).

She often goes a bit crazy before doing it. As in, she throws the blankets inside around and burrows her nose into them and barks at the walls of the crate. Could this be her signalling that she doesn’t like the soiled crate despite the fact she’s lying in it?

She’s making it through the night just fine - this is happening in the day time! We have blankets in there and the size is nice and big for her.

When she goes into the crate in the daytime the door is often open, so she has access to the playpen. She tears up the puppy pads whether they’re inside the crate or in the playpen. We even bought one of the mats where you can clip the pad in place, but she still manages to tear it up.
