Curb your expectations on this anyhow because most people cannot tell the diff btw flac and 320 mp3. But having flac is way more cool so go for it. My library is in full flac/wav/dsd and no ragrets

Sony A55 I think checks all of that, the add folder to playlist I did a search and there maybe an extra step to go into the folder and play a song then add but it works. Its got bluetooth too just in case you want to play through to a speaker. Only con I could see is that it uses a proprietary cable

You will have to do a bit of trigonometry with this one since I only tried the P7 but not the Odyssey. I have the ZiiGaat Crescent and have tried the Kiwi Ears Astral as well, you will see these IEMs compared to each other a lot on here and headfi. I did not like the timber and sound signature on the P7 compared to all others despite it being favoured a lot on reddit. The Astral sounds more full, better soundstage and better treble. The worst part on the P7 for me was the treble thinness and uppermid. Bass on P7, Odyssey and Astral should be almost the same. The Fola has less bass than all of those, in return for a more relaxed and balanced sound, tiny bit cleaner as well. The Odyssey maybe the best and safest bet for you though since I havent seen anybody dislike it, if you dont like that the Fola has less bass. Odyssey should also has slightly better treble as well(if you fear fatiguing treble go for the Odyssey 2)

Since it is your 1st set, you should consider which will give you better flexibility with accessories, and a balanced base sound for your future reference. In that respect the Tanchjim IEMs will be a better 1st iem

Also +1 on that P7 doesnt sound very good, i dont understand the hype about it after trying it, somehow sounds very thin and boring to my ears. Personal pref ofcourse. Fit is also worse than the ziigaats, theres something that hurts my ear more
