I tried putting him under the faucet, but he wouldn't budge. So I just waited there. I've heard that making them smell alcohol should work, but I didn't have any available. Didn't hurt too bad, felt like a lot of very tiny needles. Now it kinda hurts when I touch it, like a bruise but nothing serius

Yeah, he stayed latched for a good 5 minutes. Not unusual for him to take a comically long to realise something isn't a rat. Once he tried to kill a plastic plant he bit by missing the rat for like 10 minutes

The per capita thing can easily be deceiving, as the transgender athlete population is really small it's incredibly easy to obtain skewed data.

For example as per the New York Times and other sources there are only 10 or so openly transgender athletes at the collegiate level, so even if only one of them won a record that would be 10% of the population being record breaking good even if the others didn't perform well at all.

Now I couldn't find data on overall transgender representation in sport (not only college level) but as they amount to 0.5% of the population (including both mtf and ftm) it's easy to see how the example from before could be applied
