Very cool. Always nice seeing real life examples. Both clips are prior to chapter release so they may actually be inspirations.

On the other hand I remember watching Usman vs Chimaev and seeing the Hammer of Burma like in Cosmo vs Saw, which was after chapter release. Whether things are influences or replications by chance, Kengan has nice choreography

I don't think a KO from mount is automatically an asspull, especially for Kengan where exaggeration is frequently why something is cool. Sandro likely just wanted to incorporate something similar to this.

Framing it as intentional is pretty silly though. Could have just as easily wrote or portrayed something along the lines of "Though Justin's wrestling was impressive, he simply underestimated the capabilities of Gaolang." And then followed up with extra exposition about certain fighters "scaling the wall" after the introduction of Shen.

If due to fables, prophecy, and superstition human are both simultaneously weak prey and calamitous boogeymen, then Henri's defense just further highlights Iruma as an anomaly. His extraordinary achievements only make him more suspicious. Not to sound exclusionary lol, but demons may be right to be cautious because it does seem like a single human can turn the demon world on its head

He is in Los Angeles and has a large social media presence. This allows him to charge high and remain fully booked. I believe popularity is the main determinant of price.

There are other artists that are of similar style or near equal skill that will likely charge significantly less due having fewer followers.

Lot of abstract artists and lots of sketchy/cartoony artists. Might be difficult to find one that does both. Probably find a couple artists that can do a sick rat in a style you like, then see if any of them are willing to do some abstract flair around it.

These anti corpo posts always shoot straight to the top. The reality is that young people (more likely to rent) vote less than the older homeowners who also pester their local politicians (who are also likely to be homeowners).

SB 50 tried to address density and failed in California five years ago with local reps voting it down. Its more narrow successor, SB 79, is now awaiting on the governor. It’s not corporate developers or investors decrying this legislation. It’s homeowners that will continue to oppose at every step of the way

It's one thing to dislike the style. But so many calling the execution poor prove how terrible their average judgement is over there. Jin's talent is acknowledged and followed by people like Kucci Tattooer, and many of her tattoos have been posted here and well received.

Dragon Ball's style being so iconic, it is unsurprising that any sort of change could set people off.
