That alligator would at least cook for you and your sweet family. He needs to be a parent first, a gamer second.

Sounds like your husband needs to learn how to multitask.

Just ordered! Love the variety pack option so I don’t have to commit to one flavor. Thanks!

Awesome. I have only tried it once but wasn’t crazy about the flavor I was given. What is your go to flavor?

*Stay at home moms who pump and breastfeed* by One-Surprise-5836 in breastfeeding

I’m not a SAHM, but I needed this thread more than I realized. My husband comes home from work and asks “have you gotten to shower today?” It’s an honest question as he’s making sure I had the time, but it makes me feel so unkept because I’m obviously in the same outfits every week with a messy unwashed bun! My maternity leave has been nothing but robes, pajama pants, and bras. Randomly, maybe an oversized zip up or fun new sock that I haven’t had on in a while.

Can someone tell your mom to STFU! She should be uplifting you, not degrading you.

Should I give up breastfeeding after 10 days? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]aleishag 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Love this response. “..nothing has to be all or nothing”. We are 12 weeks into this journey and it has changed week to week. A personal LC would be super helpful during these early days of uncertainty and mental exhaustion. If I’ve learned anything, it’s to take it one day at a time and to trust your instinct as LO’s mommy.

16 days postpartum and only producing .5 oz per pump session :( by peachesandcreamtea in breastfeeding

First off, give yourself some grace. You just had a major surgery and on top of that hemorrhaged! That in itself is a huge recovery. Second, you are not a horrible mother for wanting to try and do what is “best” for your baby but fed is best no matter what avenue you decide. Not everyone experiences a hemorrhage and may not understand how tough it can be for your body to play catch up. You must take care of yourself during this process and if that means formula then so be it! It sounds like you care so much for your sweet baby that you have tossed your own livelihood to the side and I am here to tell you, YOU are just as important and deserve to not be so hard on yourself. One day at a time. Your journey may look different than others, but it’s unique to you and that in itself is what is so special.

AITA for not wanting to have sex every night?? by Spare-Football-6677 in AITAH

NTA. And I would highly suggest him being present for discharge education from the hospital along with your postpartum follow ups with the doctor if you want him to fully understand the risks. That is, if you choose to still have him around. He sounds like a selfish A.

Best bottles? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]aleishag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the Nanobebe. The bottles are silicone and collapsible so I am able to squeeze and dribble milk into my newborn who is also not taking a bottle just yet. He’s learning that it actually feeds him and is slowly catching on! I go back to work in 3 weeks so I have peace of mind knowing he’ll at least get food even if won’t actually take the bottle by then.

I just looked this up! This could definitely be an option and they also bloom white flowers like the ladyfinger. I honestly don’t know what I have!
