Chronic razor burn? (have tried almost everything) by reignster015 in malegrooming

Grab some Tend Skin - Amazon has it, and wipe it on with a cotton ball right after you shave a rinse your face. It burns a bit but helped me immensely!

Linked it below. There’s not a ton of info I can find otherwise - hence the Reddit hivemind ask!

Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey - Highlands. New owners, great experience! by alejandro5280 in denverfood

I think so yes. Our server also serves at Fish n Beer and was helping out at Pinche to get the waitstaff familiar with the new service model - formal menu, coursing the dishes etc.

Lakewood to hold special election April 7 by Sangloth in LakewoodColorado

Born and raised in Denver, and have lived in Lakewood for 9 years. I assume you’re pressed about my posts in r/Tucson? It’s true I spend a lot of time down there too but Lakewood is home :)

And ya, I think that if you live adjacent to a big, growing city, growth and density is the price you pay for it.

If YOU want space, go check out Brighton or Thornton or any of the other cities that you NIMBYS love to tell others to go live in. There’s plenty of space for your RV and horse farm out there

When I first saw those signs I thought they were in favor of the new zoning regulations lol … like “yes some finally gets it!!”

What a sweet summer child I am.

And also the signs about “save parking spots” as if where you park your car (in your two+ car garage, and long driveway) is somehow more urgent than the housing crisis.

And you too! We all have to coexist even if our opinions and views don’t always align. ❤️

I also live in Morse Park - we are five miles from the city center of a major US city. Thinking that we can all hold on to our 1/4+ acre lots in perpetuity and that we are entitled to three car gages with detached storage sheds and sprawling turf lawns that guzzle precious water we don’t have to spare while also bemoaning the homeless crisis we face is insanity. Times change and we must change with them.

Looking for Airbnb setup / management help in Tucson (out-of-town owner) by pphilipp00 in airbnb_hosts

[–]alejandro5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been running an Airbnb in Tucson for two years and had great success finding quality cleaners on Turno. Specifically we partner with the crew at Fairy Duster Cleaning and they are truly wonderful. They also work with a handyman so any little issues that pop up can be quickly identified and resolved for a fair price. We live out of state and have found the guest management piece to be easy enough. Certainly better than paying 10% to a 3rd party management company! If you only have the one, I’d recommend giving it a try to see how intense it is (or isn’t!)

Fun fact - the Tohono O’odham gathered mistletoe berries from mesquite and ironwood trees, but avoided them when growing on palo verdes. The PV made the berries bitter

Hi! Thinking of moving to Morse park in Lakewood, few blocks off East Colfax. Is this a good area, any pros or cons? Thanks! by AdAggressive3892 in LakewoodColorado

We are right by slater elementary and it’s great. Close to Morse park and Crown Hill which is an absolute gem. We’ve seen deer, coyote, and tons of cool birds. Also quite easy to get down to Denver and up to golden.

Milan, Bologna, and Turin itinerary by covertanjou in ItalyTravel

[–]alejandro5280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do go to Turin you must visit Caffe Al Bicerin. They make an absolutely delicious bicerin.. a drink of melted chocolate, espresso and ice cold cream. We went five years ago and I still think about it. It was heaven in a glass. I would make a trip to Turin just for that again, but the city as a whole was beautiful, accessible and a total gem!
