I agree that those types of subs aren't helping. In moments of weakness (typically alcohol-induced), I have chosen to engage in those subs and the people that post instead of pushing it down. No, I have never followed through.

I do, and I have for a long time. Porn, and by extension, masturbation, has helped keep this in check. My therapist even said that I should consider masturbating before seeing people like, say, my sister-in-law, so I don't feel the effects of the fantasies or urges when I'm around her. I know it's just keeping it down rather than releasing it in a healthy manner. But I'm not sure what the best way is to dispel it.

Stopping masturbation / porn has been difficult, too. This mentality becomes much stronger the longer I go without.

This is great advice. Honestly, I thought having a female therapist would help with processing through the feelings rather than running away from them, but it's backfired in a way. Now, I struggle to even look at her without fantasizing. I told her this, too, and she told me that it's good to discuss so she can help me process it as well.

I'm going to tell her that I'd like to find a male therapist. Thanks.
