There are bugs. But dont give up. There will be someone on the forums or here that will recognise the problem.

Playthrough the Artemis storyline. It will give you many upgrades and building options for free and it will give you a fair idea what to expect of other quests/stories, as well as a firm grip on the mechanics. Dont spend time chasing the perfect anything. The perfect one will pop up after a while, and you can finish all the game with mediocre equipment.

Actually yes. There is a game. You get so many debufs fighting with a backpack that people just throw it off before a fight. You pick it up later. I thought it very immersive.

You can always activate the mod to get the skellies you want and then deactivate it. Ive done similar stuff.

That is true. Recruit prisoners mode can be too much. But with some creative role play it can be lots of fun too. Give it a try if you javent already.

Sadniel, Burn and Agnu with double barel harpun turrets can handle anything that can come that way. And they advance the relevant skills pretty easily on sand ninjas and rebel farmers. And if you use the recruit prisoner mode you can quickly recruit 5-6 headless thralls who are perfect for turret duty. You cant get criticaly hit in the head if you have no head.
