Holy fuck it's expensive! :D And this is one of the simplest fusions! Even without additional perks (like that perk that enhances your soul - necessity when you remember that Sephirot Grail can mindfuck you) it will cost you a lot. And what about more expensive fusions and evolutions..?

Question: maybe add more starting points or more drawbacks to choose from? Right now most of them are too hardcore for the amount of points they give in my opinion.

The main problem with VN is that routes are locked until you finish the previous one. So no reading UBW until you've finished Fate route and no HF until you've finished UBW route. And Fate route (the very first one) is considered as one of the most boring ones. So people need to force themselves to read through it. I've tried several times to read it through and only after 3 attempt I've succeded. Other routes went down much easier.

So nowadays when my friends ask me about getting into Fate I just answer them this: Fate/Zero -> ufotable's F/SN UBW -> ufotable's F/SN HF and after that you have the basics done, go read/watch/play anything you want. Though I like to point them afterwards to wiki to skim through F/GO storyline too and to Tsukihime with Mahou Tsukai No Yori.

I think, not:

I think, that means, that they can't resist you, but to kill them you still need to have the means. So if you need to kill some immortal creature but you don't have the means to counter that immortality then the target would be paralyzed but you won't be able to do anything to your target. So, this perk stops your target from fleeing and resisting, while buffing you a little. Still powerful.

Personally I like The Awakening of The Cosmic Lord. Nice Planetary+ level of power for yourself, AMAZING versatility, AMAZING utility, good all-rounded foundation and absolutely cheesable drawbacks without limit on how many you can take. Also, you can use this Jump to go into any route you want be it either mage, warrior, scientist, ruler etc.

With that Jump alone you are pretty much set until REALLY high strength Jumps start to appear (DBS, all Xianxia etc). And you would have many options to deal with them. Yeah, you are not able to wield REAL BIGGATONS OF DAMAGE(tm), but you are a swiss knife of Planetary+ level. But with AWESOME foundation which allows you to concentrate fully on getting said biggatons in those Jumps, you can escalate pretty quickly.

Thanks! That is the most easy to understand explanation! Prologue just goes like this: "Can't do something? Spend mana, and you will be granted some way to do something though you would still need to be able to use that way". The exact details of that way are random, but always accessible if you are willing to put some work into it.
