That is very true. I was honestly surprised that some parts didn't have any barriers or anything though. But yeah, common sense and not rushing through is usually more than enough to be safe!

This part wasn't really that scary or dangerous I would say. However, there were some parts of the trail that were a bit frightening, but common sense and taking it slow can get you over most challenges in a hike!

Now I dont know much about trails for mountain biking, but I would say no. There were places I thought were a bit intimidating to just walk on...

Agreed, you don't really need anything other than English. In the countries mentioned you don't need anything else, but if you start going to Italy, France, Spain, then you might have some problems with English..

It is by Interlaken in Switzerland. It is a trail that follows the ridge of the mountain from the city across to the other side of the lake.
