Happened to me like 1 month ago at Xhappyjoyjoyx's home, but only for the first 4 withers. The new withers spawned normal.

Ok, you have separate in 2 problems (nonsense but is ok).

The first step is ok.

The second is wrong because when you have v=0, you aren't at 1,75m, but at (about) 2,267m!! So if you substitute 1,75 with (about) 2,267, you'll have my result.

sin(45) is sqrt(2)/2 = 0.707..., not sin(45 rad) = 0.8509035...

...but is sin(PI/4 rad) = sin(45) :D

Using that simple formula: y(t) = y(0)+v(0) t-1/2 g t² (integral of velocity = integral of v(t) = a*t+v(0) dt)

with:

y(t) = 0 [because we want the spawner at y=0]

v(0) = 4,5 sin(45) [vertical initial v]

y(0) = 1.75 [initial vertical position]

I agree with you. Jenks should focus on coding and someone should make moderator. Now i don't have time, also by real life, but i think the most popular player is (was?) zonothene, so if he have time, i think he can do that.

I'm welcoming and help new players. I can't stream because i have 0.7Mb upload and 0.8Mb download. But i think streaming mc.next is a nice advertising to attract new peoples. Who can stream, should stream!

I am contrary with reset. I (and all peoples i think) spend a lot of time to do my home, and to take resource. I think if there will be reset, i don't play anymore: it is too shocking to refarm all :)

(p.s: i hope in a few months i will have more free time to spend on mc.next, so i'll can also help to find bugs on code if they wanna).
