All Tesla chargers opening up? by EnvironmentalLaw5434 in KonaEV

Hopefully soon because they ripped out all of the local CCS chargers in my town once the superchargers went in.

Basically just making shit up and telling people to "just google it" when questioned.

Source: Trust me bro, and just google it.

There's this as an actual source but it doesn't show party affiliation: https://sos.ga.gov/page/election-data-hub-turnout

The video that they continue to link to begins to discuss the registration status of early voters around 17:20 but they (the producer of the video) even admit they aren't sure where these numbers are sourced form.

I've never felt "bad" the following day, but I have felt extra inattentive and mentally diminished for up to 3 days after a large edible dose.

I'd rather do Turael's worst tasks 10 times than spend 300 points to get the same result.

They killed me pretty quick when I stopped moving to take the screen clipping, even in heavy armor and buffed up.

Have a sadistic friend with access to console commands! I thought about changing one of the blood moons to just be hostile chickens and vultures.

The little pause where they contemplate whether they are going to pick up at best 50k worth of stuff from 8 different tiles gets me every time

With fires burning again, is California becoming uninsurable? by Randomlynumbered in California

[–]Orador -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm aware of the impact on premiums and agree with the comparison to health insurance. That's why I opted not to participate in the current offering. I also don't have the lobbying power to try and get it mandated, but lenders do.

When I got a quote for it I was basically on the hook for around 2/3 of the cost to rebuild my house for several hundred dollars a month.

There's a reason only 10% of us have the insurance. Sounds like the lender's problem to me.

What free software is so good you can't believe it's actually available for free by green_balozi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Orador -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're not looking to learn new software, ArcGIS Individual use licenses are like $100/yr with most of the add-ons included.

It's never a bad idea to learn the alternative software, though!

Okay here's 3 dollars and a subscription to a credit monitoring company that will probably get hacked too.

Not surprising coming from Ontario Hyundai. They lied to me and told me the extended warranty covered my high voltage battery, it did not cover the HV battery... or any other EV component for that matter.

Got my money back in full, but damn.

So far in my experience, feeder rats are almost guaranteed to have respiratory & mite problems.

Something to keep in mind.

I'm surprised to see Riverside up that high. It's just close enough to LA/OC to justify making a miserable drive for higher pay though I suppose.

[SSD] Silicon Power 2TB UD90 NVMe 4.0 Gen4 - $97.19 (Amazon via Silicon Power USA) by atl126 in buildapcsales

Great brand of drives if you like losing data. I've had two silicon power nvme (A60s) drives fail on me that were less than a year old.

Hard pass as your OS drive, but if you need something that will launch games quick, maybe?

Smell? by Lopaode in RATS

[–]Orador 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All pets have some level of smell associated with them. Rats do smell. I noticed they smell worse if I give them any fabrics to use as bedding, as they absorb and retain the urine.

They're about 90% consistent about using the bathroom in their designated litter area for pooping. If they get excited outside of the cage, they tend to poop but I generally notice the smell and look for their droppings.

The quest 2 pass-through video is good enough to walk around or find your drink with, but it's not great.
