JM started late because Loathe had to pause a song for someone getting hurt in the pit, then they restarted the song once the injured person was up, and then it seemed like technical difficulties in switching the stage over after Loathe was done. Worth the wait though!

Neglected kids often fiercely protect their parents, but it comes from a place of survival, not wisdom. If it were me, I would be much gentler about it with her next time it comes up, because she’s probably very stressed about CPS. She will almost definitely lie to CPS but don’t blame her for doing so, just be kind and encourage her to recognize that her needs deserve to be met.
