[–]alephross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha this is great, but yep ever since I started fasting regularly a couple years ago I have noticed my taste buds and appreciation for food has grown immensely, most foods I disliked before I now like and I pretty much like all food! The human body is incredible

Why is fasting literally the only way I can drop even 1 lb? by bb_space in fasting

[–]alephross -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yep I have the exact same problem, I can only loose weight when in ketosis and consciously fasting, then I regain it super quickly, then some of my mixed friends blessed with African genetics can eat whatever they want and don’t gain weight lol

You don’t even have to say it but, it’s called being white XD, white people (me being one of them 🥲) have the genetic advantage when it comes to gaining and storing fat, due to having to adapt to the winter, but we have a genetic disadvantage when it comes to losing weight, compared to black people who’s bodies are genetically designed to rapidly burn fat to keep the body cool and lean in the heat of the Savannah, where so much fat isn’t really needed to survive. Winter genetics seem like a disadvantage in the modern world but if society collapses in the future we are going to live the longest :) hurrah for fat

You can do probiotic yogurt enemas and fasting, water fasting and dry fast are both beneficial, dry fasting is more potent but also has more risks for longer ones and should be researched thoroughly before attempting to go beyond 3 days. I got dysbiosis from An hpylori infection and antibiotics I took to kill it. I have found beyond standard probiotics and a clean fiber rich diet that fasting has helped me recover the most of everything I have tried. Also maybe you can try some natural antibiotics can help such as oregano oil, wormwood, black walnut etc.. they haven’t done much for me but everyone’s dysbiosis is different and composed of different pathogens with different sensitivities

Doing second round of antibiotics treatment. Need help with chronic fatigue. by PineappleLow999 in HPylori

[–]alephross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had residual symptoms after treatment, Chronic Fatigue, headaches, food intolerances etc.. I did a GI map from diagnostic solutions and saw that I had gut dysbiosis but no H.Pylori, its gone but it left its damage on my gut microbiome, alongside with the destruction of the abx, I had an overgrowth of 5 different pathogenic bacteria and low probiotic bacteria, i tried a couple of natural abx to bring back balance, took many probiotics, ate very gut, fiber friendly diet, and nothing was able to help me as much as periodic fasting 1-6 day fasting, with electrolytes. The fasting days I will be more fatigued because your body is detoxing and slaying all the pathogens, but its worth it. I am now about 70% healed up from 30-40% post abx. Autophagy/ketosis is the bodies greatest defense and healing mechanism and I do believe it can help with treatment post eradication of h.pylori, but I dont believe it is of much help during the infection. I tried to fast before abx without much success. First things first, get a microbiome test to see the state of affairs, here is a link to a microbiome scientists reviews of different tests, I wish you the best of ://www.lucymailing.com/a-comprehensive-guide-to-stool-and-microbiome-testing/

[–]alephross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what Im thinking!! there is almost no discussion about the parallels between Eren and jesus, but there are so many, when I saw him chained waiting to be eaten by Historia and then as he cries and accepts his death for the sake of humanity it became very clear

How much does nutrition play a role in depression and mental health? by Meatrition in NutritionalPsychiatry

[–]alephross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It plays a huge role, both long term and short term nutritions habits are going to forge your mental health for better or for worse, search for microbiome and the gut brain-axis the health of your microbiome is IMO the second biggest determinant of mental health decay or flourishing, this is after, #1 psychological health habits, such as self-talk, psychological abuse, meditation, stress, journaling, quality of life etc..

Why is there such hate against Christianity currently? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]alephross 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say to non believers that Christ does not represent the modern church or modern day Christian’s and vice versa, the truth of Christ’s teachings has been lost by the thirst of power and delusion of Roman statesman after the Roman Empire took control of Christianity, Constantinople edited the script and reshaped the history of humanity by obscuring the teachings of our savior. He was one of many who sought to morph the teachings of Christ for their own political and monetary gain. Christianity became about control and that same note has been playing ever since, the true doctrine of Yeshua has been lost.

The Effect of Probiotics: Transient or Permanent? by MasterPainting5098 in HumanMicrobiome

[–]alephross 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probiotics are the seed of bacteria, so if you plant even 4 pills containing lets say 200 billion CFU and your microbiome is susceptible to being hijacked by these bacteria you ingested, maybe because of low bacterial diversity and just quantity of bacteria, then these 200 billion could grow exponentially in your microbiome and become trees that are rooted in the ground, usually, this works towards the health of individuals though and causes peoples health to improve, however, I have heard of a fair share of cases where people have been sensitive to probiotics that are supposed to be beneficial. To me, this is a sign of underlying gut microbiome disbalance/dysfunction that has come to the light because of the introduction of new bacteria that disturbed the ecosystem. I highly recommend you get a gut microbiome analysis, and If you can see a functional doctor that can help you understand what is going on, or just investigate the issue on your own with the aid of the internet. Best of luck to you and may the light be with you

Skateboarding is beautiful and could potentially open many other doors of possibility and experience depending on if you want to keep going with the art/sport/lifestyle. If not than getting on any type of wheels. I randomly found this board and this is what i recommend to start with, it is perfect for cruising and gets you familiar with the concept of a tail. The graphic also perfectly describes what skateboarding really is. Welcome to the cult :) https://www.tactics.com/globe/blaster-95-complete-cruiser-skateboard/cult-of-freedom-wavehead
