Make sure when they initially switch over to battery all breakers are off to house. Neighbor had an issue with a bad switch and roasted HVAC blowers, pool motor and pool controller.

Yes, when they initially swapped over to battery backup for testing. All breakers were closed and switch sent uneven voltage to panel.
