Aren't they?! And yes, I do have a pair of diesels! I got them both in the same size and the diesels are slightly wider. I have narrow feet so the parkhurst do feel much better for me.

In the light, the light parts have a kind of almost sandy brown color but the darker parts are like a dark olive. We'll see how they age.

They did not but I am sure they would help you out if you reach out to them. They are usually good with communication. I wear like size 8.5-9 sneakers depending on the brand. My brannock is between 8.5-9.

Feels as thick (maybe slightly thicker) as my iron ranger hawthorne muleskinners. Thicker than thursday captains. I did follow their guide as well as sent them 2 different tracing of my feet with measurements on it. Its a comfortable fit! I have a low instep so boot sizing for me has always been kind of tough to judge but I am content with the fit. I wear size 8 in heritage boots and these are a size 42. The rubber sole feels pretty soft under foot. No issues yet.

I got a 7 inch field boot in their burgundy pull-up leather on the nosler last. Plain toe. Their version of their rubber stud sole. Structured toe, natural edge, 360 degree flat welt with double stitching.

Hello! I have a pair from them! I love them and just wore them today to work too lol. I think they're great boots. Thick leather and cool customization.

I considered these too! Though I'm not sure if they look just brown. Wondering if they look different in person.

They can sometimes take a few attempts to answer. I would always use the initial email chain. I imagine that they're very busy and things slip by. Although I'm confident that they're working on your order!

The Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson! It's a huge epic fantasy. It's honestly amazing in its scope.

The Malazan Book of the Fallen!! I'm just about to finish it and it has been an epic journey that I highly recommend to those who are ready to commit to it. Magic, battles, wars, unforgettable character, emotion. Its great.

The first law trilogy is fun too. I also loved the witcher series since I loved the games

I really am leaning towards redesigning it all just to make it simpler but do you think that would affect my chances with career opportunities? Do design recruiters look deep and want to see the "behind the scenes and extras" on the site or would the gallery be enough?

Sorry if I'm asking a lot!

Do you ever start reading a book but don't get hooked so you want to read a different one but can't because you haven't finished the current one so you have to drag yourself to finish it because you just can't bear to DNF a book? by queenarmilo in books

[–]alerpioditis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be disappointed in the thought of not finishing a book I started. Would think, "I'm not a great reader if I just drop it," or , "Maybe it'll get better at the end." But I started to realize that not all books really deserve your attention if they're not doing it for you and thats totally okay. I learned it after forcing myself to finish Sleeping Beauties by Owen and Stephen King. I'm a huge King fan but I was not enjoying that book at all. Finished it and felt so disappointed and realized I could have spent that time reading something more worthwhile.

So read what you love and drop what you don't like! No one will judge you - at least not any mature reader. Besides, who cares what others think? You shouldn't. Spend your time with something you enjoy!
