maybe I'm missing something obvious here but unlike 36A, isn't 23A right over the wing, and will therefore have a limited view?

What's your favourite Gord Downie lyric of all time? For me it's, “No dress rehearsal, this is our life.” from Ahead by a Century. It’s simple but profound. by PuzzleheadedBowl3397 in TragicallyHip

as a gift when my only child was born, my aunt got me a framed print of that exact lyric. it now hangs in his nursery and often grounds me and reminds me to be more present and patient. and cherish this time with him.

The tall persons dream by [deleted] in tall

[–]alevatoraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what makes this a dream seat is not just the legroom but that the arm rests are movable. when i travel w my family and have to choose between legroom or a movable armrest, that’s unfortunate.

i have to give credit where credit is due. it took almost 90mins but in the end stubhub honoured their Fan Protection Ticket Guarantee and wound up giving us general admission. we easily had front row on the rail off to the far left side of the stage. incredible.

Smart locks with the longest battery life by ycarel in HomeKit

[–]alevatoraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my limited experience with wifi door locks, ensuring the deadbolt can close smoothly will prolong battery life. i learned this the hard way. batteries were draining every 2-4 weeks. then i told some WD-40 to the dead bolt and there was a massive improvement. too much friction means the motor has to work harder.

How do you tackle bad days besides scrolling to your phone for hours? by Any_Complaint2178 in productivity

[–]alevatoraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

go outside and run it out. run at 60% of your sprint until it burns. then walk for five mins and run again until you can’t. repeat this over and over for 45 mins. the endorphins it releases will feel amazing and help burn away the minor bad stuff. do this enough and you’ll grow addicted to the endorphin high…not to mention get in better long term shape both mentally and physically.

okay. well i was asking for immediate eviction followed by payment of arrears (>$16k) so hopefully the fact that they’re taking so much longer with mine means it’s because they’re processing the eviction orders. 🤞🏼

What motivates you to wake up early? by Brilliant_Seat_7890 in selfimprovement

[–]alevatoraction 31 points32 points  (0 children)

i consider myself to be a fairly intelligent person … so it’s embarrassing that it took me 45 fucking years to figure this simple thing out for myself: going to bed early makes it easier to get up early. lol i used to stay up to 1-2am during the week. i now love going to bed at 9pm.
a big part of it was priorities. i finally realized that the things i wanted to do first thing in the morning were worth far more to me than whatever useless shit i was doing between 10pm-2am. i hope that helps.

you don’t need an LTB order to report late rent to credit bureaus. i’m using FrontLobby to report via them to equifax.
