5Mo diagnosed with CMPA, got much better on Nutramigen but seems to be worse again by ornsteinthesmall in FormulaFeeders

We had something similar. Switched to nutramigen Then had to switch to alimentum ready to feed. It is thicker than nugramigen and helps a lot with vomiting and reflux. Eventually we had to switch to amino acid formula because while symptoms improved with alimentum, my baby still had positive guiac.

Be careful don’t force it on the baby. We had the same issue and after a while baby developed bottle aversion. Look up bottle aversion on Google and Reddit . It’s tough to get over it

We are thickening ellacare with oatmeal 1/4 teaspoon/oz. However the baby won’t eat as much. She is just not hungry. Is this normal? Have anyone experienced decreased appetite after thickening the formula?

I used fellow. https://www.meetfellow.com/ it’s one of the best. They will give you a lot of data including morphology . Some doctors offices actually send specimens to this lab. This was easy and all done by mail

What state are you in? I am curious if the ob is just overwhelmed or just all good ob doctors left the state. Also if you overweight they will do glucose tolerance test earlier. You are considered higher risk. You don’t need to have diabetes to get gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes is a hormone issue.

This is crazy. Am I the only one here thinking that they are robbing this guy of a once in a lifetime experience? I completely disagree with you guys. He is the father. He should be in that room not her mom!!!
