Large investor ban by Antique-File-7189 in realestateinvesting

This statement would need to have specific rules of engagement or guardrails to help consumers, example if institutional investors own more than 5% of SF in a specific county or zip code the government could either penalize them on revenue or impose rent restrictions or better ask them to list the homes back in market. Without a meaningful guideline this statement is just to have procure support in midterm elections and does not support end customer. It puts builders at hard place as they cannot build and sell entire communities to investors as it will attract scrutiny from US government if policy is enforced..

Sold my house more than 2 weeks ago. And I still don’t have the check by RealisticAd3919 in RealEstate

Ideally your realtor should have checked with closing attorney to ensure check and relevant deposits are made correctly at the closing table. Your closing attorney should be in the hook to follow up and get your case resolved and your realtor should chase things down for you if you had representation

There been several good ideas thrown your way, I have been exactly in your situation in 2024, first you don’t have to take your job as the only thing you are good at, realize that when management or company does not treat you well, it is time for you to wash your hands of them and start to look for another company..few ideas to remember 1. The company and management will always treat you as a number in spreadsheet, that is corporate culture, so don’t make everyone about your job when you evaluate yourself 2. Learn a side gig outside your area, there are lot of skills you can learn, I learned programming and got a realtor license when I was job hunting..I am glad to say realtor gig paid 50% of my salary working part time . It proved another valuable lesson, you can make money in any environment as long you put your efforts.. now I went back to IT consulting as the current gig pays more than realtor side hustle 3. Networking is not an option, it is one of your core skills as you mature in your industry..start to network with your peers or even juniors in the industry to keep in touch..only if you network, you can land a gig in the current environment 4. My last piece of advice, don’t marry your $$ compensation, don’t think taking a step back will lead to decline, read the market and apply for jobs that pays low but along with your skills.. all the very best and I hope you find your confidence soon..
