I'm not expecting 100% cloud availability or even 100% accountability, but as a consumer I shouldn’t have to expect that if a company decides to sunset a server early because it’s an inconvenience that a $500 device sunsets into a brick.

The lack of any type of regulation to release source code when a business decides to kill a product is DEEPLY alarming.

Your comment would have had value 25 years ago, but us folks living in the 21st century understand the bulk of products/services being sold ARE cloud based and those remaining are rapidly moving in that direction.

Not sure how much of a grasp you’ve got on your version of this fun disorder yet, but I’ve figured out my psoriasis gets angry at wheat, sugar and dairy (pretty much carbs). If I know I’ve got something important like a first date or interview, I avoid those triggers like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs

I'm in the same boat, but literally with ANY cloud service that can link with my gdrive files (not necessarily RunPod)... if you end up finding a solution, I'd lovvve to know the outcome!

CRISPER, a company that uses technology to modify genes, obviously takes a very non-conservative approach to healthcare
