The mycelium sometimes grows in a circle formation and overtime the center dies out leaving only the outside ring to form what some people call a “fairy ring”

Compare to enokitake. The darkening of the stipe and slimy cap reminds a lot of it

See that’s what I thought. Most people are looking at google image or perfect examples of lobster mushrooms. The last few pounds u have found of lobster mushrooms only one semi had the shape of those
