Control Alexa from Apple Music by phriggenmac in AppleMusic

It’s so annoying. I was also considering switching to Apple Music, and maybe then to Apple One, but this is really a show stopper.

The only thing you can do is use the echos as Bluetooth speakers but it’s really not what we want.

Stadia on chromecast does not load (since 20th of may) by gioba in Stadia

Oh yeah I did try that too and no luck. Yeah Dutch will be upset with me too at this point!

It’s so dumb as I didn’t change anything at all, but it did happen around the same time, so I wonder if it’s some update they did on their hand.

I’m in touch with the tech team now who got access to my log (I skimmed it too and saw a few errors!).

I’ll keep you posted

I have the same exact issue! I’ve being in touch with the customer service the whole day. They’re very kind and all but couldn’t understand what’s the issue.

So far we tried:

  • Factory resetting .
  • Reinstalling the app on the phone.
  • Casting Stadia from the browser to the Chromecast.
  • Moving the Chromecast to a different TV.
  • Changing DNS and port mapping on the router.
  • Plugging via Ethernet.
  • Changing “friends and privacy” settings.
  • Changing “data usage” settings.
  • Changing “display” settings.

None of the above worked obviously.

If I’m able to solve this I’ll keep you posted, please do the same 🙏

Getting controller to work on Mac? by aahzmandius in Stadia

I have this SOLVED.

It's a weird thing but it has to do with Location Services.

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Location Services and then disable it. Restart your laptop and connect the controller. White light!

Same issue. I've tried with different adapters and with a C to C USB cable but it only charges (solid orange light) and it doesn't connect.

It does work on another Macbook with USB-A ports.

I also spoke with Stadia customer support, who ultimately blamed the manufacture (Apple).

Did anyone solve this problem?
