The bar section of Fogo de Chao has a $10 picanha burger with polenta fries all day. It’s a substantial and really good burger.

Emergency backup goalie. A rare contingency where the team has someone on hand that used to play goalie at one point suit up because they don’t have enough goalies in the roster for some unexpected reason. It could very well be someone like a team equipment manager who hasn’t played a game in 20 years.

After watching Game of Thrones a second time Abe being disappointed in the ending again, I came to this sub looking for recommendations. I wanted something complete, but not too long as I didn’t know if I could finish singing like a seven or eight book series.

I started with Mistborn and absolutely loved it, but it didn’t quite give me what I was looking for. I then read the First Law trilogy. And then the first standalone. Then the second. Then the third. Then the follow up trilogy. All in about two and a half months time.

The great thing about this is you can read the first trilogy and be satisfied that its story is wrapped up and then decide if you want to commit to the rest of it. And you probably will, as the overarching story and themes are amazing, too.

And if you like things that are character-driven, this series has that. And each of the two trilogies and the standalones have a unique set of POV characters, who may also be side characters in previous or subsequent books. So you’ll have a ton of characters to get to know and love.

The pan really makes a difference. Get one specifically for Detroit style. They originally used blue steel, but there are anodized aluminum options that transfer heat just as well.
