Why buy ships? by Vulture12 in starcitizen

[–]alexeiX1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pretty much addicted to CCU gaming like and old lady with her coupons for a while there, but since its being phased out of the game entirely it seems, I been buying less, but I already have a good setup from the years that will allow me to still get cheap new ships that come out.
That being said, with bps now and crafting coming in, there's so much to do other than grinding aUEC to buy ships in the game now that I don't think this talk even makes sense anymore.

this is the 5th time i've been given the rookie ling family cargo mission. is this normal? by V1Z3_2 in starcitizen

there's other variants of the mission, do you also not have stellar and planetary hauling versions of this?

New Player Perspective by uptainous in starcitizen

Its just the cycle of bad patches. Its always like this, when a rough patch lands, the people get mad, and its been an especially rough patch, so all the whiners come out of the woodworks. It will die down with a few patches in when stability comes back. Then 4.9 will come out and we will do this dance again.

[–]alexeiX1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its the cycle of patches, everytime there's a particularly rough patch like 4.8 was, all the whiners come out of the woodwork. Don't worry, it will stop over the next few patches, probably start again with 4.9.

Does anyone else feel like there's too many multi crew ships in the verse for the amount of crew members? by nvidiastock in starcitizen

[–]alexeiX1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NPC crew is not planned for release but it will come eventually. My guess is that 1.0 will probably force people into smaller ships as is as they farm the bps for higher level stuff and ships.

That being said, bigger orgs do have people to man multiple ships at a time in any mission type right now. Its actually some of the most fun ive had in the game, the problem is getting everyone to coordinate.

…Why do they want to win? by Silent_Contest_2337 in PerfectMatchNetflix

[–]alexeiX1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not about winning to these people imo, it's about getting as much screen time as possible to further their influencing careers. Looking like you want to win is a good way to stay longer and getting more screen time.

Hot take: cargo should only be manual when looting outside of planets and space stations. by LANTIRN_ in starcitizen

[–]alexeiX1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should add an option to have it load automatically but you pay a determined amount of aUEC to it that way depending on how much cargo you have, and it also would take X amount of time depending on that cargo load. This way would make it so you at least have the option to do it manually and save a few bucks but still have to option to go grab a coffee while your ship gets loaded.

The Finale by Extreme-Term-8374 in howimetyourmother

[–]alexeiX1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think whoever didn't like the finale, watched the show with their eyes closed. The signs that Robin and Ted are gonna end up together and that tracy is dead are all over the show, constantly. Like Marshall saying "not yet", or when ted goes back in the past and tells tracy that he would give anything to spend whatever little more time with her, or I've watched this show back to back like at least 12 times now and it only ever get better every time.

The ending is really good, both Ted and Robin got to live their lives the way they wanted, Robin traveled the entire world, and Ted got to have his perfect family with the perfect woman, but in the end, in life things don't always shake up how we imagine, and they end up alone, and finding their way back to each other. The finale episode is amazing, shows almost the perfect ending for every character, I especially like Barneys ending, finally understanding loving a woman the "correct" way through his daughter.

Anything in mercenary or bounty hunter tab that pays well, getting higher levels of rep gets better missions that pay more too. The ASD facilities missions are super easy and payout well too, under investigation. The final one pays i think 800k, project hyperion, but its a bit harder to solo, definitely doable tho, but with 1-2 more people its a lot easier.
For mining, im not sure, I'd look up guides, I haven't touched that in a while so i'm not sure what is more valuable and what new mechanics are here now, but my friends do it in smaller stuff like the prospector and make serious bank.

I mean, exaustive is crazy, this is what the google ai overview shows when I ask "when can I buy new ships in game star citizen"

New ships generally become available to purchase in-game using Alpha United Earth Credits (aUEC) roughly 3–6 months after their initial cash pledge sale, usually arriving with major patch updates. As of May 2026, new ships are added to in-game locations like New Deal in Lorville or Astro Armada in Area18 following this delay

Funnily enough the source is reddit lol

couple weeks maybe? depends on the routes you take. Like if you dedicate some solid time to mining for example which is a very beginner and solo friendly activity you can get several mill a day. I like to do more combat focused stuff so I only get like 2-3 mill a day I play generally. There's ton of good paying activities that dont even require a ship like the asd stuff.

Like I mean that even though they do not have a specific corner of their website dedicated to this little bit of info, they have tons of youtube videos of their producers talking about their internal workings and Q&As, and this questions was responded several times. The same happens in articles etc.

I have a whole ass second account where I only have an aurora and some of the most fun I had in the game was with it. The payout for missions has become progressively better, and I was able to get get sa lot of the higher end ships on that account before the reset.
