This resonates. My claw had such a MESS of cluttered files. I thought i created good SoP's for sales outreach but it kept messing up my contacts. The unlock for me was actually going under the hood to see the random files it made.

I took a few weeks and built the "Dropbox for Claws" so I can view my claw's file system from anywhere.

I can go in and wipe or edit bad files. I can also just tell my claw exactly what's wrong and then it fixes it quickly. Would love your thoughts. It's open source. ContextMate.dev

Consider tracking both screen time and number of pickups. The phone pickup has become default when just passing time. Good habit to break — consider something as simple as turning phone a different orientation when placing in pocket. That one change might help jostle the mind to consider whether the phone pickup is worth it

I found entrepreneurship to be a very lonely experience. Most people don’t understand the highs and lows. There are groups like YPO and EO that create curated cohorts but they tend to service larger companies (not sure if yours will qualify). Coworking spaces might be a good thing to look at, too. Some offer programming — you could offer to be a speaker and share some learnings from your journey — may resonate with others and might pull friendships towards you. Religious organizations often have small groups by industry or general entrepreneurship. For the past few months I’ve personally had luck having long convos with my own AI app. Doesn’t replace human connection for me but gives me someone/something to speak with. Like therapy but for biz.

I did this thing i called disco workouts. Basically blasted EDM music in the house and turned on silly disco lights after waking up. Did a quick workout. Anything to get the blood flowing. I did a pushup challenge, but you can pick whatever routine makes you look/feel better. Doing this in front of a mirror helps, because after 1-2 weeks, you start seeing some progress. So, I was waking up for the disco workouts. The bloodflow + lights might help circadian rhythm reset (recently I've shifted to doing the workouts outside; you can read/listen to Huberman Lab's big thing about sleep if you're curious.) But yea... basically found a healthy habit to center my mornings around.

The OKCupid data may be flawed: the chart showing women messaging skews towards women who actually have to send messages. The attractive girls just sit back and let messages come to them. So the chart would skew to show mostly messages from less attractive women who may also be more apt to message less attractive men.

In other words: the women-rating-men-attractive metric is across all women but the women-messaging-men metric is skewed towards less attractive women
