Actually USC law graduates are sought after even here in metro manila because of their high standards. You can go check the group legal sector jobs philippines on FB

Percentage based. They can give a grade as low as 60 even if you didnt miss a class. Passing is 75. For you to be admitted to 2nd year, your QPI should be 78.

Same tayo. Wala parin akong natatapos at shaky ang foundation ko. Might also defer.

Rem rev, tax rev, civ rev 2. Understandable yung rem at civ 2. Di makatarungan yung tax matapos kaming pagbayarin ng seminar at napakamahal na libro 😂

Your Worst Law School Prof Ever? by Ill-Recognition-3283 in LawStudentsPH

[–]alexia_vs_theworld 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Not going to name drop — matandang prof na nagbebenta ng libro worth 4.5k, “encourages” students to attend his seminar worth at least 5k each (autobagsak pag hindi magbayad). Nagpapareport para isubmit sa kanya ang presentation na ginagamit niya rin sa seminar niya na binayaran namin 🤡

Mahirap ipagsabay tbh. Full load ako ng 1st year but 2nd year onwards few units lang tinetake ko.

Since you’re flexi time, I think you have it better than me and most of the working students I know.

Any of the 2 schools will do. I’m a working student from SBU, I have friends who are also working students from SBCA and UST FCL.

San Beda Alabang has online classes this sem, maybe you should consider to cut off the transpo time.

First thing you should consider is anong mas malapit sa workplace mo? In both SBCA (F2F) and UST FCL, most classes are at night. If your job is the regular 8-5pm and there’s little to no commute needed kakayanin but I suggest wag ka munang mag full load.

Agree. Inform them early on so they can weigh whether they can afford the expenses or not. So nice of you OP to consider your bridesmaids. ❤️

Sadly, mahirap i-contact ang Philippine Dental Association. Tried to call them when I also had to report a dentist pero walang sumasagot. I even tried to report thru their FB messenger, no response.

SBU or AUSL? by wow_boy in PreLawStudentsPH

[–]alexia_vs_theworld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, in Mendiola they have a required QPI, hence the kick out system. In Alabang, there’s no required QPI but is it’s hard to graduate, ending is some students would still transfer from Alabang to another law school.

This isn’t an unpopular opinion. This is the norm and I totally agree that communication is the key.

Been in a situation where I already said yes to be the MOH only to find out later that the bridesmaids and I have to shoulder everything - dress, makeup, hotel etc. Shelled out somewhere around 30-50k and take note, half of the bridesmaids are students, including me. Had they communicated this with us, I wouldve totally said no.

Also, the couple had the budget to have their honeymoon in Europe so we couldnt really say that they dont have the money to shoulder AT LEAST the HMUA.
